Luxury motor yacht SQN of London was created for ultimate Mediterranean & Caribbean cruising comfort, style and performance. She knows no compromise. The interior by Don Starkey Designs features sycamore and vavona redwood burl joinery, with book matched paneling and doors. Judicious use of leather trim and custom leather door-handles adds a pleasing touch of class and texture to the interior. Designed by Dubois Naval Architects, the hull and superstructure are finely finished in aluminum with comprehensive use of custom fittings produced in-house at Alloy Yachts. Intended primarily for cruising in moderate climates, this blue water vessel features extensive outdoor areas for relaxing and entertaining guests in a variety of settings. State-of-the-art audio-visual systems keep guests entertained in the remotest locations, while advanced communication electronics allow guests to remain in touch from anywhere in the world. Spread across three decks, SQN's spacious living areas ensure guests will feel specially treated at all times. Formal and informal dining options are available on two levels.

SQN is a deck aluminium super motor yacht (38m LOA) built by Alloy Yachts in New Zealand for the Company's chairman. She is the first deck yacht designed by DNA and has a distinctly macho feel whilst still retaining a seagoing creature's feminine side.
Another head turner, SQN demonstrates Alloy Yachts' ability in all areas of construction; aluminium work, systems, joinery and finish. While Alloy Yachts are known primarily, quite rightly, as sail boat builders, SQN demonstrates that they understand, precisely, the need for motor yacht construction as well.
Her main accommodation on the lower deck has two double guest cabins, one twin cabin and a gymnasium, all with ensuites. The gymnasium is designed to be converted to a cabin if required in the future. Forward are a Captain's cabin, two double crew cabins, galley, crew mess and separate laundry. The engine room aft houses two Caterpillar 3412 engines, each 1400hp at 2300 rpm. Two Northern Lights 60 kva generators will be fitted together with a 60 kw Atlas shore power converter. The 5.3m tender is stored behind the engine room with side door access to the water on the port side.

The main deck has an aft cockpit, main saloon with bar and separate dining area for up to 10 guests. Forward off the owner's entrance and study is a master cabin with two ensuites. Forward of the dining area and above the main deck is the bridge. A stairway leads to the flybridge which can also be accessed from the aft cockpit. The flybridge has a bar, jacuzzi, barbecue and dining for eight. An outside steering station is also located on the flybridge. A three man Seadoo water craft and crew tender are stored on the foredeck.
The yacht is fitted with a Naiad model 410 roll stabiliser system and has a cruising range of 2530 n.m. at 13 knots.

Accomodation :

Luxury Motor Yacht SQN of London provides luxury accommodation for 8 charter guests in 4 cabins : The owner's stateroom is situated on the main deck and comprises a separate study, lounge area, walk-in wardrobe and adjoining 'his & hers' bathrooms. Guests are accommodated on the lower deck in three cabins, all with ensuite facilities and fully independent entertainment systems. Two of the cabins are doubles, while the third has two single beds and a pullman berth. A gym is also located on the lower deck. For family charters the numbers can be made up to 9 using the pullman berth in the twin cabin for children/nanny.

We use MYBA (Mediterranean Yacht Brokers Association) contract that is designed to standardize charter terms and protect the Charterer ( You) , the Owner, and the Agent/Broker.
It has standard protections and escalation clauses in case any problems arise.
Once you have signed a MYBA charter contract, you are obligated to pay the entire charter regardless you actually board the yacht.
In exceptional cases, you may be able to cancel, but monies will be refunded only if the yacht can be chartered to another client, therefore many we suggest purchase of insurance against cancellation.
Charter fee is paid in two rates ; 50% of charter fee when the charter contract is signed and 50 % 4 weeks before charter commencement. Extra expenses are charged with Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA). APA is usually 25 % to 30 % of total charter fee and also depending on your itinerary, food, beverages etc. Captain will keep accurate records of funds spent during your charter and at the end of the charter, you will be refunded the difference, or you will asked to pay more during the cruise if further running costs are incurred.
