Definitely she is a unique yacht in her genre, as all leisure yachts of this size. Even though she includes all sorts of comforts that may come in handy during long cruises she shines for her performance, in fact she is ideal for transatlantic crossings as well as regattas.
Performance is the result of weight control obtained with vacuum infusion using light and resistant materials such as carbon, a lifting keel with a 30-ton bulb feature which enables her to have a displacement of less than 100 tons and a sail area of 570 square meters.
Sail area and hull guarantee extreme safety in any sea and weather conditions for Hamilton II was conceived to sail anywhere in the world and all year round. Andrew Winch Designs and Philippe Briand, respectively in charge of interior styling and outside design.
Hamilton II represents one of the most recent examples of cruisers-racers, boats whose main feature is to offer comfortable and cozy cruising over long periods of time combined with high performance.
There is a full beam stateroom aft, with two en suite bathrooms, two beds and a corner desk. Going forward there is another cabin to port, with single bed and en suite bathroom. The midship section of the yacht includes the comfortable dinette to starboard and the saloon to port, both with natural lighting and headroom thanks to the overhead trunk. Forward of this area there are two mirror cabins with twin bed and en suite bathroom.
Forward, in the bow, there are the galley and the crew quarters with the crew dinette, a double cabin for the captain with en suite bathroom and desk and two cabins with Pullman bunks and bathroom.
The yacht is fitted with tender of 4.20 m with 80hp engine stored in the aft garage. Useless to say that onboard Hamilton II there are several high-tech audio-visual systems and the most modern electronic navigation equipment. The sloop is fitted with a 9/10 rig, Hall Spars 42.25 m high carbon mast with four sets of spreaders, carbon boom and total sail area with mainsail and genoa of approximately 571 sq. m. Lewmar deck fittings include eight hydraulically-operated winches and two Cariboni Magic Trim for the mainsail.
The sails meet the high-tech standards found onboard Hamilton II, in fact, mainsail, solent jib and staysail are D4 Vectram/Carbon sails, in addition there are a Dacron storm jib, an Airx 900 asymmetrical spinnaker and a spinnaker inside its chute stored below deck.
This yacht undoubtedly offers high performance sailing in any wind conditions nevertheless she also features a classic design and very cozy and ample interiors.

Her spacious interior includes two double state rooms aft, which can be configured to open up as a single generous owner's suite.
She has a further two twin guest cabins, forward port and starboard, and a children’s cabin with two children's bunks.
All state and twin cabins include en suite shower rooms and entertainment systems.
The saloon offers dining for 8/10. There is a large Plasma screen with home cinema sound system and a CD/DVD/Radio system
In the guest cockpit there are two large dining tables each seating 8/10 people.
